Certification, course credit and CPD

Do you offer CPD points?

Our online training is not formally registered with any regulatory body that allows us to confer CPD points.

However, we do offer certificates of achievement which list the number of hours of study for each course.

Do you offer academic credit?

No, we are not affiliated with a University so we cannot confer academic credit. We only offer a certificate of achievement.

Do you offer certificates?

All courses do now come with a certificate of achievement, but only if you have watched all of the lectures in full and accessed all of the course material. You can download these certificates or share them on your LinkedIn profile.

How long does access to a course last?

Access to a non-subscription course lasts for 6 months.

Do I have to sign up for a course by a certain date?

No, our courses are always open – you can sign up whenever you like!

We aim to provide high‑quality digital education accessible anytime, anywhere. Because our courses are delivered instantly and in full upon enrolment, our refund policy reflects the nature of digital content and the value provided immediately upon access.

 

General Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds following purchase of our material. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Accidental purchases
  • Dissatisfaction due to personal preference
  • Failure to complete or participate in the course
  • Inability to access the course due to issues with your device, internet connection, browser, or other technical circumstances outside our control
  • We encourage learners to review all course descriptions, previews, and requirements before purchase.


Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue preventing you from accessing the course content, please contact us at support@iopa.org.uk. We will work with you to resolve the problem promptly. Technical issues alone do not qualify for a refund.

Exceptions

In rare cases where required by applicable consumer protection law, statutory rights may override parts of this policy. If such laws apply in your region, you may have additional rights.


Changes to terms and conditions

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at our discretion. Any revisions to the terms and conditions will be applicable at the time of publishing on the website.

I’ve purchased a course from you, how can I access it?

You can access your course by clicking on ‘my courses’ and logging in using the username and password that you created.

Are you still offering discussion groups?

Unfortunately we are not currently offering discussion groups for any of our courses.

We are looking into other ways of providing a live online discussion element for our courses. In the meantime, all courses will come with a discussion forum where students can discuss the course.
